Hello, and thanks for reading my profile. My real name is Darrell and I have a variety of interests that is reflected in my hub topics.

Personal Finance: As a former insurance advisor, I am familiar with life insurance, annuities and retirement planning. In this area, my specialties include estimating insurance and retirement needs.

Soccer: I’ve been a referee in Trinidad since 2008 and enjoy sharing insights gained from referee training and the laws of the game in my hubs.

Cricket: I’m a longtime West Indies fan and have been an avid cricket follower since 1998. I like to write player profiles and comment on topical issues in cricket.

Relationships: Social psychology and the humanities are favourite areas of mine. In the sphere of relationships, my hubs are usually about communication, relationship development, attraction and conflict resolution.

Accounting: Currently pursuing an A.C.C.A. diploma. Hubs in this sphere are usually on financial accounting and management accounting.

I rejoined HubPages in December 2008 and started publishing Hubs in January 2010. It has been an enjoyable experience and I hope to continue to build my Hub portfolio. As an avid online reader, I wish to post Hubs that are always useful and/or entertaining.
